Scripture: 1 Peter 3:10

For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech…”

God gave His Son as the ultimate act of love to us. If God was not consistent in this act, then He would not be trustworthy.

Likewise, it goes for us, as His children, created in His image. When we speak evil, our words become void. If I don’t love myself according to His word, then evil would reign my mind and spout from my mouth like filth.

What you speak about yourself is the true reflection of your thoughts. It does not show that you believe in Trinity’s divine love and no one would believe in your actions. Your words cancel the actions and you become hallow.

When you grasp the Father’s love for yourself, you would know, without any doubt that you are worthy to be loved.

Wickedness, evil, doubt, cursing, and hateful speech must be holstered to truly grasp His love, Mercy and Grace. Otherwise, you will be like a snake with a two-forked tongue and speak death over yourself.

John 3:16 must become real in you. Jesus loves me, a refrain that touches your mind, body, soul and tongue. And, you should accept it as real. It should be clear of His love for you in your daily walk.

Once it drowns your fears and sorrows, the ultimate act of Love becomes a way of life.

Heavenly Father, your Love is real. Show me the true meaning of John 3:16. Help me apply it in my words and actions. I am worthy of your love. Seal my lips when I want to speak foolishly, without thinking. Show me the blunder so that I can change it. Your love is my goal. I want to be your love in every area of my life.

I want to be the reason people flocks to You. My words a welcome and refreshing fragrance of your manifested love.

In Jesus Name, Amen.

Worthy to be loved
